Classicpan 400, when mastered, is a brilliant film. I took the tip to rate the film half its advertised film speed, meaning I exposed as if the film as 200asa not 400. I processed in 1:50 Rodinal for 11 minutes and here is what I got. I love the end results from my Saturday afternoon in Kensington Market and Chinatown. I used my Pentax Spotmatic F kit to make these photos. I have found though my results in my Nikkormat with the same as above less than wonderful. I am going to eliminate what caused the less than wonderful performance, super sunny day and the deep yellow filter redundant with a super contrasty film? I will have to experiment to find out why.
